Randy Bachman has posted a video on Instagram of himself reviewing some of his 200 guitars going up for bids at Julien’s Auctions on May 29th and 30th.

Randy Bachman is the latest artist to join the ever growing list of those selling off some of their instruments.
In conjunction with Julien’s Auctions, he will sell close to 200 signature guitars, instruments and gear.
Among the more desirable six strings are his 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard, also referred to as “The American Woman Guitar,” as it gave birth to The Guess Who’s signature song.
He acquired it in 1968 during a show in a church basement in Nanaimo, British Columbia when an audience member offered him to play the guitar in place of his current guitar with a cracked neck. Subsequently, during a show at a Canadian Curling Rink, Bachman, after breaking a string, stumbled upon the song's now iconic riff.
The Les Paul is estimated to sell for between $200- and $400,000.
Another estimated top-seller is his 1955 white Fender Stratocaster, which is featured in the 1975 video for B.T.O.'s “Roll on Down the Highway.” It has an estimate of $100- to $200,000.
You'll be able to see the items on display at the Hard Rock in New York from May 22nd to the 28th. The auction will take place at the Hard Rock on May 29th.

In 2008, Bachman sold his collection of 385 Gretsch guitars to the Gretsch Foundation, the charitable arm of the Gretsch family and the Gretsch company.
