Apple Maps are 300% More Likely to Get You Lost Than Google Maps:
Have you downloaded the free Google Maps app on your iPhone yet? You really should. Apple has nailed a lot of things in the past decade . . . but trying to make their own maps app is one of their biggest screw-ups yet.
A company called Crowdflower just ran a study comparing Apple Maps and Google Maps to see which one is more likely to get you lost.
They entered 1,000 random businesses in the U.S. and 100 overseas to see which mapping app would do a better job giving you accurate directions. And they found Apple Maps are 300% more likely to get you lost than Google Maps.
Apple Maps got the location wrong 3.4% of the time . . . Google Maps were wrong 1.1%.

An 87-Year-Old Accidentally Gets His Car Stuck On a Pedestrian Walking Path . . . On the Way to the DMV To Get His License Renewed:
87-year-old Raymond Pierce of Larkspur, California was driving his Toyota station wagon and accidentally drove it onto a concrete pedestrian walking path.
The path was pretty narrow, with concrete walls on both sides . . . and his car got wedged in and STUCK.
And to make this even more poetic, Raymond was headed to the DMV, to get his license renewed.
The police reported to the scene and called a tow truck. It took them more than a half hour to get his car unstuck.
Raymond didn't get a ticket . . . but was issued a MANDATORY reevaluation on his driver's license.
A Judge in Indiana Rescheduled a Court Date, So an Attorney Can Watch Notre Dame in the National Championship:
In South Bend, Indiana, a district court judge just agreed to postpone a court date that was originally scheduled for January 7th, because one of the attorneys got tickets to the game in Miami . . . and the judge didn't want him to miss it.
And get this: The judge's name is RUDY. Judge Rudy Lozano. Of course.
The case involves a couple suing a cement company over injuries suffered on the job. And the couple's attorney is the one with the football tickets.
