As posted here a few weeks ago looks like the rumors are true! Skyfall actor Ben Whishaw will play Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in the upcoming movie. Originally Sasha baron Cohen was signed on but the band had a falling out. Queen guitarist Brian May says "What led us to that conclusion was the last three movies that he's made – The Dictator, Les Misérables and Hugo – in which he makes outstanding performances, but they're very much Sacha Baron Cohen performances," May said. "And we thought there has to be no distraction in the Freddie movie. You have to really suspend that disbelief – the man who plays Freddie, you have to really believe is Freddie. And we didn't think that could really happen with Sacha." Do you think Whishaw is a good choice? Here's a memorable scene from Skyfall....
Despite their badass image most musicians use their hands for playing their instruments and not fisticuffs. There are however some genuine tough guys out there in the world of rock n’ roll who are not afraid to put up their dukes and get nice with their mitts. Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has always had a deadly scowl and don’t trespass on his stage lest you feel like catching a guitar in the dome. Thanks to the internet you can see the play by play of some of the most infamous on-stage beatdowns in rock history so sit back and see what happens When Rockers Attack!
Ever since Dallas Stars forward Antoine Roussel appeared on the Bo & Jim Show he's been on a tear. Last night against the Chicago Blackhawks he won a fight with Andrew Shaw, nearly took out a pair of linesmen in the first period, elbowed Jonathan Toews in the second period, and earned a penalty shot which eventually became the game winner. He even then taunted the crowd at the United Center after his tally. WATCH!
