So I'm haning out on youtube and look what I found. Yep it's true, time to get back in the saddle with Aerosmith when they come to town on July 28th at the AAC...You know many moons ago Aerosmith got a star in front of the old Hard Rock Cafe on McKinney Ave. Let me just tell you that was one wild and crazy night. I'd love to tell you some stories but, there a little too much for here. when you see me out, feel free to ask me about them. you won't regret it...Check out this old photo of me with the boys. good times! I just can't believe this video still exists. this is an old KZPS video from 1991, it's the "Just Say Ho" video we shot. I saw that my good buddy John Rody posted it. it's quite a hoot. I'm even in there for my big Video debut. scroll through to 8:37 and you'll see me and my boys when they were just knee high to a grass hopper...for the 2nd video, just start at the beginning...enjoy!

Well I didn't actually get to go but our promotions guru Bobby Black went and saw Roger Waters in Austin last week. from what he tells me it was an amazing show. According to him, the difference between the Dallas show and the Austin show is that in Austin they made the wall look more 3D. Not true 3D mind you as he wasn't wearing 3D glasses, but pretty close. if you just watch some of these videos you'll see what he's talking about. I almost went as it would have been a good chance for me to see Nick while I was there. but I didn't. and Bobby did. check out some of the video he shot!

Afterwords we were having a drink and let me just say, Boz is a man of many, many stories, all of which I can't repeat here. But let me just say, you do not want to miss this show. Well hey again everybody. Well it is that time again, of course I'm talking about the races out at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. You know for many years we've got out to the track and done everything from live broadcasts, turned TMS into a giant roulette wheel, helicopter rides and of course all the great concerts they put on. Well this weekend will certainly be no different. Bo and Jim will be out there Saturday causing problems like they usually do. Make sure you find them and say hi. A Couple of years ago when I was out there I came across 2 lovely ladies and thought I'd share the picture with you. People ask me, Jon how do you always find such beautiful women. my reply, I don't..they find me..

Well only the world famous Jonny Lang and Buddy Guy. There gonna be coming to town on June 23rd at the Verizon Theater. I've been friends with Buddy Guy for as long as I can remember. He's one of the few remaining legends that I still just can't get enough of. I remember a few years back we did the Bedford Blues Fest and Buddy Was headlining. It was cool because in the middle of his set he hopped off the stage and right in the middle of the song walked right over in front of the Lone Star Van, spotlight shining right on him and our station vehicle. I remember I was standing on top of the van with Bobby and we were both just in awe that as all these people were trying to watch him, we just had to look down and he was right below us. I wish I had that on video somewhere. Sadly I don't though. I did however find this really cool video of Buddy doing Rock Me Baby featuring Eric Clapton, BB King and Jimmy Vaughan at the Crossroads Guitar Festival here in Dallas a few years ago. Very cool.
